It’s finals time here at SCAD, which means I have to start and finish things that I’ve known would be due for several week over the next seven days. This quarter has gone by faster than any previous quarter for me. It doesn’t feel like it’s November at all. I spent Saturday and Sunday this past weekend watching all of season 1 of The Wire. I explained some basic plot and characters to the program director and she thought I said Nick Nolte when I was describing McNulty. Both she and the general manager were disappointed when I made the information more clear. Also, Omar was in R. Kelly’s “Trapped in the Closet.” He’s one of Bridget’s significant others. I have no doubt in my mind that R Kelly chose the name Bridget solely for rhyming purposes, but the same rhyme pairing was used for the Souls of Mischief classic “’93 ’til Infinity.” So R Kelly loses to Souls of Mischief yet again. He’s down 75-72.
