Now you may not recognize the name but you will recognize the first 3 seconds of his hit “Kung Foo Fighting”. This ode to those amazing kung fu movies ( that so many of us love ) is one of the best selling songs of all time. Even though he did not have any hits after this soul classic. It is fair to say that Carl Douglas gave a great contribution to the chain of soul music emerging from Britain.

Words for the Soul: (song dedication- River by Emeli Sande)

What is your reason for living? What are your goals in life? From time to time take a moment to yourself to do a self evaluation on what these answers are and if you are moving towards achieving them.

I will be on hiatus for the month of June but I will be back in July for the Summer session of Soul Sessions!!! yay!!!
